I hate dating in this generation.
As a 25-year-old female, I’m disappointed with how boys — not men — treat women.
So, this is an open letter to the boy who made me believe I was special. I went from his “perfect girl” to him destroying my self-confidence, lowering my self-esteem, doubting my actions, making me apologize for things I never did, and completely changed the way I will approach relationships in the future.
This is not only a letter from me, but from the female collective and any woman who wasted her time, money, energy and years on immature…
“Go to university so you can get a great education, a high-paying job, and open up so many doors of opportunity,” said everyone I know.
Here’s what happened:
I got accepted into a Professional Writing and Communications program where I learned about technical writing, journalistic writing, scientific writing and I even had the experience of writing and publishing a book.
After graduation, I applied to all of the marketing, advertising and communication companies I could find. I think at one point I exhausted all of my local options and started to apply to companies in the U.S.
If you’re an entrepreneur, or have a business of any size, then one of the most important things you’ve got to do is market your product. Whether it’s a physical good or service, marketing can be divided into three main categories:
Inbound marketing (using tactics like SEO and social media), outbound marketing (advertising) and content marketing (writing blog posts on topics related to your company).

If you want real results and growth, you’ll need someone who knows what they’re doing and has the numbers to prove it.
I’m not talking about a purchase before you get started…

The trick to skyrocketing your sales (in any industry) is to persuade your audience that they need to buy your product or service in the first place.
How do you do that? Through the magic of copywriting.
You can’t sell something if you don’t even know whether…
The day a stranger paid me $1000 to write copy for their product launch was the day I felt like writing could actually pay my bills and it wasn’t just a fun side-gig.
It took me one year and four months to tell someone on a sales call (the special Zoom call you hop on with someone you want to write for) their sales page investment was going to be $1,000.
I wanted to vomit at the idea of asking someone for that much money. It felt like I was robbing them and I couldn’t provide the results they wanted.
